If 90-degree days aren’t your thing, you’re just as glad as we are to welcome the arrival of fall.
Along with cooler temps and colorful autumn leaves, we’re looking forward to resuming our regular programming with an online Support Circle next Thursday, Sept. 11, 7-8:30 pm, and in-person Annual Meeting/Chapter Meeting on Saturday, Sept. 27, at First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson St., just south of Providence Park.
This will be our regular home for Chapter Meetings and Trans Support Circles held on the 4th Saturday of each month. (See the map below.)
You’ll want to be there on the 27th to take it all in from 10 am-1 pm: Remarks from our guest speaker, state Rep. Zach Hudson, a Troutdale Democrat who is the father of a trans son. Annual reports from our board president and treasurer, with a look ahead to next year. A chance to socialize. And an opportunity to vote on a slate of candidates to serve on the chapter board.
Our chapter is funded totally by donations – and only those who are in good standing may cast a ballot. You can make a one-time gift or contribute monthly, beginning at $10, using the Donate/Join button on the website. Donations of $35 or more make you a voting member. https://pflagpdx.org/donate/
Hope to see you soon, whether online or in person. Our new venue in the Goose Hollow neighborhood has ample parking, no stairs, and easy access via mass transit. https://maps.app.goo.gl/zgdQxKibbBKCQPkZ8
