Save SMYRC Fundraiser (in-person event)
Mr. Portland Gay Pride & Pride Northwest
The Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) of Portland is at risk of losing their Multnomah County funding. SMYRC is one of Portland’s only safety nets in providing access to lifesaving and gender affirming care for queer and transgender youth and young adults. This fundraising event is a collaborative effort between Title Holders of Pride Northwest, The Sweethearts of Portland, and The Imperial Sovereign Rose Court of Oregon. Star-studded and jaw-dropping drag show starts at 6 pm. Suggested donation of $5-20 at the door with 100% going towards SMYRC.

The time has come again to skate on into National Trans HIV Testing Day at Oaks Park Roller Rink! The annual event celebrates our Trans community and includes free admission into Gay Skate Night. Cost-free, confidential HIV and STI testing, for anyone interested, provided by Multnomah County. Come celebrate community and skate (or try). All are welcome!

Ben Greene: Resilience and Self Care for LGBTQ+ Folks and Allies (virtual)

Join PFLAG San Francisco for a virtual presentation about resilience and self care for LGBTQ+ folks and allies from guest speaker Ben Greene. Ben is a transgender advocate and educator who has spoken internationally on topics surrounding gender inclusion. After coming out at 15 in a small town, Ben has devoted his career to spreading empathy, education, and storytelling around the trans experience. He is the author of the Substack “Good Queer News,” as well as the book My Child is Trans, Now What? A Joy Centered Approach to Support. Ben is passionate about educating others from a place of compassion, no matter where they’re starting from. Register online.
